Phyllis
Rosenfield, Executive Director/President
Phyllis Rosenfield is a founder and Executive Director/President of
Listening for a Change. She has a background in education, social science
and fine arts. She was the photographer and co-creator for The Sonoma
County Survivor Project, and has served on numerous boards and commissions,
including Chair of the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights and
President of the Sonoma County League of Women Voters.

Caroline
Chinn Gonsalves, Workshop Presenter/Instructor
Caroline Chinn Gonsalves is a graduate of UC Davis and holds a Masters Degree in
Cross-cultural Education. She is a past instructor and Director of Community
Service at Saint Mary's College High School, and past Executive Director of
Summer Search North San Francisco Bay Area. She has been working with Listening for a
Change for the past two years. She and her husband Regan are raising their two
young children in Santa Rosa.

Anne Shepherd, Project Coordinator
Anne Shepherd joined Listening for a Change in the Fall of 2005 as
Project Coordinator. Born in Estonia, she immigrated to the U.S. with
her parents after the Communist takeover of the Baltic States during WWII.
She is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in U.S. History.
She is a computer programmer and is responsible, among other things, for
maintaining our website.

Meg
Alexander, Chair
A former city planner and ordained Buddhist theologian, Meg Alexander
is a community activist from Healdsburg who has special interest in
religion, the arts, human rights, and the environment.

Ellen Boneparth
Ellen Boneparth currently writes fiction and memoir. Her previous careers include university teaching in political science and women's studies, U.S. diplomacy, and university administration. She is Director of the International Women's Studies Institute which offers crosscultural educational tours around the world.

Jessica Flores, Secretary
Jessica Flores, a third generation Latina, is a native of Texas and has resided in California since 1994.
She holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and obtained her law degree in 1997. In 2002, she began her
career as a civil servant, working as the Family Law Facilitator at the Sonoma County Superior Court,
where she helps unrepresented litigants navigate through the court system, educates
individuals about their rights and responsibilities in the area of family law, and assists families
in crisis resolve their disputes.

Mwangi, Treasurer
Vicky Mwangi is a Certified Public Accountant, born in Kenya. She works with boards of directors and management of
non-profit organizations to generate financial information that is reflective of their tax exempt
purpose and mission. She also assists these organizations with federal and state tax requirements
as well as funding sources requirements.

Wes Winter
Wes Winter is Senior Marketing Director of Fountaingrove Lodge, Oakmont Senior Living -- the nation's first licensed
Gay and Lesbian continuing care retirement community. He has served the wider
community as Executive Director of the Volunteer Center
of Sonoma County, Executive Director Circuit Rider Productions (focused on environmental restoration
and human service programs), and Associate Director of the Children's Council of San Francisco,
and has served on the board of directors of many public benefit organizations.
