    Essence of Acceptance
Complete Curriculum (600 pp binder style, video 41 min) $150
The Essence of Acceptance curriculum brings history alive in the classroom through engaged learning, project-based lesson plans, and community involvement in the classroom. Lessons are included on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the U.S. Constitution and the constitutions of other nations. The program teaches oral history techniques and includes a methodology to bring community interviewees who have suffered a loss of rights into the classroom to be interviewed by the entire class. The content in this publication aligns with a number of history-social science and English-language arts content standards and fulfills service-learning requirements.
